    How can I tell if my room reservation has been successfully completed?

    You will receive a booking confirmation email within 10 minutes. Once you receive it, your booking is complete. If you do not receive it, please check your spam/junk mail folder.

    Why can't I select the room type I want when booking a room on the official website?

    Please check if there is a minimum stay requirement. If there is no requirement, it means that the room type has already been booked.

    Will the credit card number I entered when booking on the official website be charged?

    The credit card number used for booking is only for guarantee purposes and no fees will be charged. Payment will be made in cash or by card on-site.

    Can you call or message us on Line to book a room?

    If you wish to pay the deposit via bank transfer, please contact us via Line message.(Click to join our official Line account)

    If you wish to book accommodation for same-day check-in, you can call directly to inquire and we will hold the room for you.

    Can an extra bed be added to a double room?

    Due to space limitations, extra beds cannot be added to the double rooms.

    Are there any group accommodation discounts?

    Please inquire about group discounts by email or phone.

    Can I book a room without a credit card?

    You can still make a reservation even without a credit card. Please make your reservation through our official Line account and complete the remittance within three days.

    Do you have short-term rental options?

    We offer a 20% discount on room rates for stays of 30 days or more. You can select your desired dates on our official website's booking page, and the discount will be automatically applied for stays exceeding 30 days.

    Can I use my China Travel Service card?

    Yes. Please book directly on our official website's booking page. The credit card information you enter when booking will not be used for online payment. You can use your China Travel Card to pay upon arrival.

    Check-in issues

    I want to cancel my reservation. Can I get a refund?

    According to the standardized contract issued by the Executive Yuan's Consumer Protection Committee, the total prepaid room rate (full price) or the right to authorize the hotel to deduct the full price from the guest's credit card upon booking will be refunded proportionally within 3 days.
    1. If you notify us of your intention to cancel 3 days in advance, you can cancel free of charge.
    2. If you notify us of the contract cancellation 2 days or 1 day in advance, we will charge 50% of the total house price.
    3. If the cancellation is notified on the same day or there is no notice (No Show), 100% of the total house price will be charged.
    4. Room rates cannot be cancelled or refunded after check-in.

    Note: If the booking dates include December 29th, 30th, 31st, and the first, second, or third day of the Lunar New Year, a full deposit will be charged in advance. Deposits are non-refundable in case of cancellation, but can be used up to one year later.

    Can I check in earlier if I arrive early?

    Our scheduled check-in time is 3 PM, but if you arrive earlier, don't worry, you can leave your luggage for free. We also offer early check-in service for a fee, ensuring a hassle-free experience. Check-out time is 11 AM, but if you need more time, no problem, we can arrange it flexibly according to your needs. Early check-in or late check-out will only incur an extra charge of 200 RMB per hour. If you require more time, simply inform us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

    What if I arrive at the hotel very late at night?

    Check-in is available 24 hours a day. If you arrive late at night, please let us know in advance and we will arrange everything for you so you can check in comfortably.

    Does the room have a bathroom?

    All our rooms have en-suite bathrooms.

    Is there a hairdryer in the room?

    Is there a makeup mirror on the table in the room?

    We offer professional-grade LED desktop makeup mirrors that simulate natural light, ensuring your makeup displays the correct colors and shades for a smoother application! Free to use; please contact us immediately after booking to reserve your spot due to limited availability.

    Can I borrow their crib, baby bathtub, and bottle sterilizer?

    To make things easier for parents traveling with infants, we offer complimentary cribs (for infants under 2 years old, in rooms with sufficient space), baby bathtubs, and bottle sterilizers. Please make your reservations in advance as availability is limited.

    Is hot water available during limited hours?

    No, hot water is available 24 hours a day, so you can take a comfortable hot shower whenever you arrive!

    Do I have a washing machine to wash clothes?

    We do not provide washing machines, but there are coin-operated laundromats nearby, so please make use of them.

    Can I leave my luggage here?

    The hotel's luggage room is open 24 hours a day. You can leave your luggage at your own expense whether you arrive early or check out. There will be a charge of 50 per day for overnight luggage storage.

    Do you provide towels, toothbrushes, and slippers?

    All room types include a large bath towel, a medium bath towel, shampoo and shower gel, paper slippers, bottled water, coffee and tea bags, and slippers.
    ※Note: Environmental Protection Administration regulations:
    Starting November 1, 2024, in order to comply with regulations, disposable travel supplies, including personal hygiene items such as toothbrushes, combs, razors, and shower caps, will no longer be provided free of charge. Each item costs 5-10 yuan and can be purchased separately if needed.
    There are hot, cold, and chilled water dispensers in the lobby on the 1st floor, which are free to use.

    Is breakfast provided?

    Breakfast is not provided, but there are many breakfast options nearby, so feel free to take advantage of them.

    Traffic problems

    Which MRT station is the Fu Yi Hotel near?

    It is a 2-minute walk from Wenxin Qing Station of Taichung MRT.

    Does the parking lot have an attached parking lot? Or are there other parking lots nearby?

    Parking is free; you can park directly in any available space, but reservations cannot be made in advance. Alternatively, there are free parking spaces available on the roadside ahead.

    Can heavy motorcycles be parked?

    Yes, the restaurant offers a limited number of free parking spaces on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Can I park my bicycle in the room?

    Unpacked bicycles cannot be brought into the room. For unpacked bicycles, the hotel will arrange for them to be parked in the hotel's indoor space for your safety.

    How long does it take to walk from Fu Yi Hotel to the MRT station?

    It takes about 2 minutes to walk there.

    Are people under the age of 18 allowed to stay overnight or rest?

    Passengers under the age of 18 who stay or rest between midnight and 5 a.m. must meet one of the following conditions:

    • Accompanied by an adult relative or friend; or
    • Show parent/guardian consent form; or
    • There must be a legitimate reason and relevant supporting documents must be provided.

    Justifiable reasons include, but are not limited to:

    1. To take the exam (you must present your admission ticket).
    2. Participation in competitions or screenings (relevant proof required)
    3. Foreign tourists visiting Taiwan (passport required)
    4. Internship (relevant proof required)

    If your accommodation/rest time is outside of midnight to 5 a.m., the above restrictions do not apply. Please add us on Line if you have any questions.

    Can I get an invoice with a unique serial number for the room fee?

    Invoices will be provided for cash and credit card payments made on-site. A unique serial number can also be issued if needed. (For orders paid on other platforms, such as Expedia and Agoda, the hotel cannot issue invoices. Please request them from the booking platform.)

    Can I still find the things I forgot to take when I checked in last month?

    We will only keep lost items for one week. We apologize, but if you would like to confirm whether the item has been found, please email us and describe the item's appearance and the possible location where it was lost in detail.

    I left my things at the Fu Yi Hotel. Can you help me mail them back to my place?

    If the lost item is found, it can be sent to your designated address. The cost will be shipping plus a service fee of 100 to 300, and you will be asked to provide your credit card number for deduction.
